REVIEW CAPSULE: 'Dog Tag' #1, 'Red Roots' #1, 'Showdown' #1

I don't have as much time to write full reviews as I'd like but I had to highlight these great new comic book reads. DOG TAG #1 Dog Tag is a fictional story about a very real war. Borrowed from real world stories and little known events of World War II, Dog Tag asks big questions about the war while focusing on the heroism of the ordinary people who lived and died during the conflict. A timely reminder of what true freedom costs.  RED ROOTS #1 The lives of a professional killer and a high school teacher are bound by a terrifying, mysterious force. It puts Sara and Vampirella on a collision course where trust is fragile and the consequences ar...
