Art director, designer, and illustrator, Kevin Maher, best known for his design work on Comixology Original’s Forgotten Home, Dark Horse’s Deadliest Bouquet, and others, will launch his first creator-owned digital comic, Toxic Man, in February.
What happens when a washed-up, drunk, middle-aged hero loses his sidekick in an unexpected tragedy? A mystery is revealed through a series of hilarious circumstances that he must solve with the help of allies and enemies, all while trying to stay sober!
Toxic Man was created by Kevin as a teenager and is now finally brought to life in a humor-filled first volume. Perfect for fans who enjoy a good glass of whiskey and poking fun at the superhero genre in the spirit of the mid-eighties Justice League International.
Toxic Man will be available on GlobalComix, Amazon Kindle, and Kevin’s own site, kevinmaherdesign.com, on Wednesday, February 22, 2023.
