PREVIEW: 'Lost Falls' #1 (of 4) by Curt Pires, Antonio Fuso, Pierluigi Minotti, and Lee Loughridge

From the Co-Creator of YOUTH, Curt Pires delivers a Twin Peaks-style surreal mystery series this August.


Acclaimed writer Curt Pires (YOUTH, Olympia) does it again with the new mystery thriller Lost Falls, a comic book series with art by Antonio Fuso and Pierluigi Minotti, colors by Lee Loughridge, and letters by Micah Myers. Announced earlier this year, Lost Falls #1 (of 4) arrives on August 3, 2021, from comiXology Originals, the exclusive digital content line of comiXology, an Amazon company.
 
While investigating the case of a missing girl, detective Daniel Pynchon wakes up on the shore of Lost Falls, with no recollection of how he got there. As he struggles to piece together the events that lead him there, he investigates the phenomenon surrounding his memory loss and the town itself. He soon discovers horrors both human and otherwise.

This socially minded mystery thriller is the latest collaboration between Curt Pires and Antonio Fuso, the creators of WYRD, soon to be a show on FX starring Matthew Rhys.

Pires’ previous comiXology Originals work YOUTH Volume 1 is now in paperback from Dark Horse Books [136 pages/color / MSRP $19.99/$25.99 pbk / ISBN: 978-1-5067-2461-4] and YOUTH Season 2, released digitally from comiXology Originals, recently concluded. YOUTH is currently in development as an original series with Amazon Studios with executive producer Patrick Moran.
