QUICK REVIEW: The finale to one of the best comic book limited series of 2021 is here and doesn't disappoint. It's not a spoiler to say that Bond saves the day but it's the how and what that matters and as writer Christos Gage has done throughout the four issues so far, he still finds ways to surprise. Bond and Blofeld are surrounded and outgunned by Titiana Jones's forces. The battle for Spectre reaches a fever pitch and Bond, as both instigator and triple agent, is caught in the middle without backup. This ends only one way - in literally explosive fashion. As usual, Luca Casalanguida frames an action-packed kinetic issue, framing Bond heroically even though he gets the stuffing beat out of him. Heather Moore's colors are all over this issue as big action takes big splashes of reds, orange, and yellow. Letterer Simon Bowland is working overtime with all the sound effects in a shoot'em up, blow'em up finale. You'll have to catch your breath by the end of it.

'Jame Bond: Agent of SPECTRE' #5 caps a stellar limited series that is quintessential Bond, smart, action-packed, and entertaining.
