QUICK REVIEW: LEGO has diversified so much that it's created a multi-media entertainment juggernaut beyond toys with winning books and animation. In its first collaboration with Skybound, the All-New LEGO NINJAGO Comic Book Series is an all-ages adventure that's exciting, approachable, and fun to read.

Tri Vuong conjures up a deep dive into Ninjago lore with a focus on Garmadon. His backstory is covered in the beginning allowing new readers like me to get caught up. The salty Garmadon is roped into a helping a village under attack and while it offers this well-worn plotline, Vuong infuses it with enough energy and charm to make it fresh and entertaining.

LEGO NINJAGO: GARMADON #1 is a delightful new adventure series created for new and old fans of all ages.
