A Cotton Candy World is volume 1 of a storybook series from the Eisner & Harvey Award-winning cartoonist of Jim Henson's Tale of Sand.

Young Nadia’s mundane life is turned upside-down when stumbles into an unpredictable fantasy realm, a world that feeds off the subconscious — turning simple thoughts into dreams or nightmares — encounters strange denizens, all while being hunted down by the realm’s self-appointed king. Alice in Wonderland meets Little Nemo in Slumberland with a dash of Studio Ghibli / Hayao Miyazaki's Spirited Away in this modern fairy tale adventure for all ages.

From Kugali, co-creator of Disney's upcoming series IWAJU.

On a newly colonized planet known colloquially as Murenga, a long-banned neurotechnology is being developed and tested by the corporate government, TerraQ. NeuroKunda was originally created to “cure mankind of mental illness and social ails,” but it could easily be used against any group considered outcasts and outsiders by their society. It is these outcasts that are the heroes of this story.
