Shook! is a 160-page graphic novel comprised of tales of horror, sci-fi, and suspense from a collection of some of the most talented African American writers in the comic book industry. Dubbed "The Dream Team," these creators represent black excellence in the horror genre. Contributors include Eisner and Glyph Comics winners and nominees Rodney Barnes, Kevin Grevioux, David Walker, Alverne Ball, Marcus H. Roberts, Bradley Golden, John Jennings, and many more.

A Native princess origin story.

Mexica’s princess initiation has begun. She’s given three riddles by the Royal Council and must return with the respective prizes in order to be crowned. Aztec Princess Mexica ventures out of Aztlán with her pet ocelot, Elote, to find the prizes. Unbeknownst to her, the neighboring tribe, the Tlaxcala, is on the warpath. Mexica innocently thinks they’re a part of the princess initiation and foils their plans at every turn, unknowingly saving the kingdom and ultimately returning as Aztlán’s crowned princess.
