Alex Ross and CGC Announce First-Ever Private Signing

Alex Ross has announced a collaboration with Certified Guaranty Company® (CGC®) for an in-house private signing. For the first time ever, Alex Ross will be signing comics from his career to be graded by CGC.


Ross is an icon in the industry, having earned numerous Eisner and Harvey Awards for his phenomenal artwork throughout his career. 

Ross is one of the most well-respected modern comic book artists in the industry. He has both illustrated and written comics during his career and is best known for his work for DC and Marvel Comics. A few of the many notable series Ross has been a part of include The World's Greatest Super-Heroes, Kingdom Come, Marvels, and Justice. Along with his interior work, he has also done exemplary covers on books like Batman: Harley Quinn #1, Justice League Adventures #1, Black Adam: The Dark Age #1, as well as the extremely popular icon covers he created for Marvel Comics. Most recently, Ross released Fantastic Four: Full Circle, which he both wrote and illustrated.

The CGC Private Signing fee for Alex Ross is $110 per item and includes: 

  • Alex Ross’ signature 
  • Estimated turnaround time of six weeks for CGC grading 
  • Estimated turnaround time of eight weeks for CGC grading and CCS pressing (an additional $20 fee applies for CCS pressing)  
  • Encapsulation with the iconic yellow CGC Signature Series label
