It's Kill Bill meets Clash of the Titans in Hunt. Kill. Repeat. The all-new, action-packed series by Mark London (Battlecats, Knights of the Golden Sun). When the Greek gods invade Earth, society is quickly forced to comply with their new rulers. However, one god, Artemis, rejects her brethren's ideology and has found solace in the love of a mortal. When she is called to Olympus to answer for her betrayal, the gods strip away her godly powers and leave her for dead. Now, ten years later, Artemis is on a quest for revenge to confront her father, Zeus, for taking away everything she ever loved.

Hunt. Kill. Repeat. is an all-new original series by Mark London (Battlecats, Knights of the Golden Sun) with art by the dynamic Francesco Archidiacono, colors by all-star Lee Loughridge (Deadly Class, The Good Asian), and covers by Ryan Kincaid and Marguerite Sauvage.

Score:

★★★★☆ (4/5)

QUICK REVIEW: The solicitation says it all, "Kill Bill meets Clash of the Titans." This is the most accurate description I've read in a solicitation for a comic. So, if you like 'Kill Bill,' you're going to love 'Hunt.Kill.Repeat.' Zeus and the Greek Gods take over Earth and impose their will leading to an authoritarian society built on fear and power. But Artemis has no interest in ruling the human race and just wants to live life with her mortal partner and raise her unborn child. Well, Zeus is having none of that. Mark London puts together an exciting revenge tale that very much mirrors the Quentin Tarantino film with much different power dynamics. The overbearing father with control issues and his put-upon children serve as an almost unbeatable gauntlet of foes for Artemis but certainly, she deserves her revenge. Artists Francesco Archidiacono, Mark Deering, and Lee Loughridge contribute to a colorful action-packed, well-designed post-apocalyptic New York City with some manga-inspired fighting. 'Hunt.Kill.Repeat' is an action-revenge thriller that levels up by pitting god against god in an earth-shaking debut.
