QUICK REVIEW: One of this year's most exciting monster comics is 'The Last Wardens.' A deadly roving blob leaves a trail of death and chaos in its wake while a distraught sister frantically tries to save her brother as a band of bickering heroes(?) attempt to fight the monster. Elliot Sperl, Amit Tishler, Rui Silveira, and Francesco Segala have put together such an irresistible blend of horror and action that despite little exposition and backstory, 'Wardens' is a rollicking good time. Without the why and how this terror came to be, Sperl and Tishler present a chaotic and grisly fast-paced tale that keeps readers glued to the page with the spectacular visuals from Silveira and Segala. There is a little more detail given about who the Wardens are and how dangerous the ever-growing blob is to the town. As determined and courageous as Danielle is to release her brother from within the blob she may be more of a hindrance than a help.

'The Last Wardens' continues to be a terrifying blast.

He instills confidence knowing that his stories will be thoughtful and engaging. You add a talented artist like Dustin Nguyen on another collaborative effort and well, 'Little Monsters,' is a must-buy. I know, shocking.   They team up again with an intriguing post-apocalyptic vampire tale featuring "the last children on Earth" who've been left to their own devices among the ruin...
