'Punisher' Team Matthew Rosenberg & Stefano Landin Reunite for Revenge Series 'We're Taking Everyone Down With Us'

Bestselling writer Matthew Rosenberg (4 Kids Walk Into A Bank, What's The Furthest Place From Here?) and fan-favorite artist Stefano Landini (Daredevil, Prodigy) will team up to bring readers an all-new, six-issue miniseries titled, We're Taking Everyone Down With Us. An explosive, extra-length first issue will kick off the series launch in March 2025 at Image Comics.

Rosenberg’s star is on the rise lately with his earlier, breakout work co-created with Tyler Boss—heist comic 4 Kids Walk Into A Bank—currently being adapted for film and set to star Oscar nominee Liam Neeson.

“Stefano and I wanted to tell a fun story about our favorite things—super-spies, mad scientists, robots, family, and revenge,” said Rosenberg. “What we ended up making somehow became much funnier, more heartfelt, and far weirder than what we set out to do.”

This new series will provide longtime fans with a new story to sink their teeth into and allow Rosenberg to flex his creative skills once more with previous Punisher collaborator, Landini.

This new entry in their oeuvre, We're Taking Everyone Down With Us, follows 13-year-old Annalise who’s left all alone in the world after her mad scientist father is killed by the world’s greatest spy. Now, alongside her dead dad’s robot bodyguard, Annalise has a choice: try to lead a normal life for the first time ever…or seek revenge and maybe overthrow the world order in the process.

Landini added: “I started from what I am passionate about, and therefore from design and pop culture, trying to unite them in giving a graphic form to a story that sees a father and a daughter as protagonists. The story is an adventure that in some ways recalls the James Bond of the ’70s, a Tokusatsu, but which is set in an imaginary world in which humanity coexists with robots, exoskeletons and futuristic weapons. I think that We're Taking Everyone Down With Us summarizes all this and much more. I am really excited at the idea that, after so much time, readers will finally be able to read it. I can't wait to discover their opinions.”

This exciting new story takes readers on an unparalleled journey of super spies and pseudoscience, growing up and global domination, and regret and retribution.

We're Taking Everyone Down With Us #1 will be available at comic book shops on Wednesday, March 26:
