QUICK REVIEW: I'm running out of superlatives  when reviewing 'Space Ghost.' It's consistently one of the most exciting action comics, but there is little to critique. If there is a criticism to be had is the similarities between arcs where a powerful villain appears, fights Space Ghost to the brink, and is then heroically aided by Jan and Jace to save the day. There are worse tropes in comics so a rousing adventure told in bold ways with amazing art is a trend I'd like to see more of.

With Space Ghost on the ropes from the Thanos-like Metallus, it's up to Jan and Jace to protect the planet from extinction. David Pepose is extremely adept at writing bone-crunching combat. You can see more of it in the titles he's written for Marvel as well, like Cable, The Punisher, and Savage Avengers. It's a roaring crowd-pleasing confrontation that packs a huge punch. Jonathan Lau and Andrew Dalhouse bring it all to life with dramatic designs and vivid colors. Space Ghost looks every bit a powerful space vigilante, muscular, expressive, imposing, and a relentless fighter. I would love to see this team on a Batman book.

Look, I'll just say if you see this title pick it up. You won't be disappointed. Pepose and the team are on a hell of a run with this series with nary a bad issue.
