Atagun Ilhan’s manga-influenced art, paired with Pippa Bowland’s vivid colors, perfectly captures the story’s emotional and supernatural tones.

Despite the book juggling multiple layers—love story, time travel, AI, cultural tribute—it remains focused and intimate. The historical figures are thoughtfully integrated, offering genuine connection rather than feeling symbolic. Some scenes could use more visual punch, but overall, the debut is smart, heartfelt, and compelling.
