Tomb Raider Meets G.I. JOE in Exciting New Series from Kyle Higgins, Elena Casagrande, and Alex Guimarães

This Historic Crossover Event Is Just Getting Started! G.I. JOE: A Real American Hero/Tomb Raider #1 Arrives in October

Today, Skybound and Image Comics, in collaboration with Hasbro, a leading games, IP and toy company, and video game developer Crystal Dynamics, revealed the first-ever crossover event between two of the most beloved action franchises ever, G.I. JOE: A Real American Hero and Tomb Raider, culminating in a 5-issue miniseries debuting this fall!

Readers who picked up G.I. JOE: A Real American Hero #330 in comic book shops today were treated to the jaw-dropping surprise first appearance of Lara Croft as she infiltrated Castle Destro in search of her next deadly destination! This marks the first time EVER that the worlds of G.I. Joe and Tomb Raider have ever met in comic book history. 

Then, in October, Lara Croft’s search for the Arbco Star goes to the next level with G.I. JOE: A Real American Hero/Tomb Raider #1, a 5-issue limited series from the best-selling creative team of writer Kyle Higgins (Immortal Legend Batman, Radiant Black), artist Elena Casagrande (Black Widow), colorist Alex Guimarães (Invaders), and letterer Pat Brosseau (G.I Joe: A Real American Hero), available in comic shops on October 7, 2026.

G.I. JOE and Lara Croft meet for THE FIRST TIME EVER in an all-new limited series from Kyle Higgins and Elena Casagrande that reveals the classified connection between these pop culture icons.
