It’s Alien AI Mastermind vs Henchman in the December One-Shot.

Mad Cave Studios and Tatsunoko Production travel down previously unexplored paths as they present Gatchaman: Leader X One-Shot this December, giving the titular villain Leader X his own story for the first time ever that will pit the alien AI mastermind against his greatest henchman, Berg Katse. 

Written by Steve Orlando (Land of Never, Galactor), illustrated by Giona Zefiro (Gatchaman, TMNT: Shredder), with colors by Carlos Lopez (Gatchaman, Marvels Rivals), and lettering by Buddy Beaudoin (Racer X, Gatchaman). Cover A is illustrated by Vincenzo Riccardi (Harley Quinn, Star Wars: High Republic) and cover B illustrated by Dario Brizuela (Green Lantern, TMNT: New Animated Adventures). 

Secrets rise in the Arctic wasteland! When tectonic activity unearths an ancient alien ship under the arctic ice, Leader X sends Berg Katse to steal the craft’s secrets before the International Science Organization can get their do-gooding hands on it. But when Leader X refuses to explain why the vessel is so important, Berg Katse suspects more than technological prowess is at stake. Is this his chance to break free from submission to his cruel master? To rule Galactor with his own maniacal fist?
